Parts Manager (Energy)

Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, United States; the posting also references Olean, New York. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, with up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $64,000-$109,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage customer order activity throughout the order fulfillment cycle.
• Receive internal and external orders, monitor status, and expedite orders when needed.
• Communicate proactively with customers about changes, delays, and order inquiries.
• Resolve non-standard customer and operational issues through independent analysis and decision-making.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and management levels to facilitate cross-functional issue resolution.
• Contribute ideas and creative solutions to improve existing processes.

Requirements

• Four-year degree from an accredited institution or 4+ years of hands-on experience in customer service, logistics, or operations.
• Experience with MRP or ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work effectively in complex operational teams and collaborate across departments, geographies, and cultures.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization; a valid passport and required international visas are needed for travel.

Nice to have

• Background in steam turbines, energy, international operations, or heavy manufacturing.
