Sr. Financial Analyst

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; office-based position

Salary: USD 86,000–100,000 yearly

What you will do

• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis during monthly close.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and track KPIs for leadership.
• Develop financial projections and financial models for commercial clients.
• Provide financial guidance to project teams and track spend against plan.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Present budgets and monthly financial results to clients and prepare or review budgets, contracts, and statements of work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in corporate finance or a related role.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in an office environment.

Nice to have

• MBA or relevant master’s degree.
• Experience in the life sciences industry.
• Experience with D365 Management Reporter, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Tableau.
