Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Onsite at 5600 Avenida Encinas, Carlsbad, California, USA

Salary: USD 94,000–120,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Manage and report consolidated financial plans, forecasts, budgets, and actual results across the business.
• Support rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, long-term planning, and the full three-statement forecast process.
• Establish reporting calendars, standardize templates, and coordinate deliverables with cost center and channel owners.
• Analyze forecast, budget, and prior-year variances, including impacts on financial statements and potential accruals or adjustments.
• Partner with Finance, Business Intelligence, and business owners to develop KPI dashboards and expand automated financial reporting.
• Enhance finance processes, models, and reporting, including what-if analysis for strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in consumer goods or an inventory-related field.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with experience extracting data from multiple systems.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple forecast versions, meet deadlines, work cross-functionally, and operate independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or an MBA.
• Familiarity with Domo or Power BI.
• Experience with apparel, Full Circle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Shopify.
