Manufacturing Technician 1 (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Kalispell, Montana, United States; onsite work in a cleanroom and manufacturing environment

Salary: $18.00–$24.80 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and written instructions to complete manufacturing operations.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, process improvements, and parts audits for defects and availability.
• Test assemblies with fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, and perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.

Requirements

• High school or technical diploma, technical degree, certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic skills in analytical or scientific methods or operational processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work with required personal protective equipment and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.

Nice to have

• Up to one year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Technical education, certifications, or training.
• Experience following standard operating procedures, applying scientific methods, and meeting quality guidelines.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology.
