Product Manager, Private Funds

What you will do

• Own a suite of private funds tools within the Clearwater system.
• Translate alternative-asset concepts, including capital calls, distributions, unfunded commitments, NAV, waterfalls, fees, and secondary transactions, into product requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Collaborate with development teams on feature design and development, communicating business value and supporting successful delivery.
• Define the product roadmap and contribute to the broader company roadmap.
• Communicate roadmap updates and product releases to internal stakeholders, clients, and prospects.
• Test and deploy new features, engage with clients on use cases and future needs, and measure release success.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of investment accounting and financial instruments for alternative assets, including capital account activity, NAV, book value, fee and carry structures, and performance measurement.
• 4+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with product and project management methodologies and tools, including agile, Jira, Aha, backlog management, discovery, and validation.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development techniques.
• Experience implementing and consuming large-scale web services, designing full systems and architectures, and scaling databases.
• Relational database experience with technologies such as MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, plus strong analytical, communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
