Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States. Full-time day-shift position; customer-site travel of up to 20% is required.

Salary: $26.30–$34.55 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

  • Assemble, integrate, modify, and test electro-mechanical systems, assemblies, and subassemblies using drawings, schematics, bills of material, and work instructions.
  • Perform precision mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, crimping, cable fabrication, connector installation, and system integration.
  • Conduct functional, electrical, and mechanical testing, document results, and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and system-performance issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions with limited supervision.
  • Create and improve assembly procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Support prototype builds, new product introductions, continuous improvement, customer-site installation and commissioning, maintenance, repair, and field service.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of related experience in high-tech manufacturing, instrumentation, semiconductor, aerospace, scientific equipment, or a similar precision manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and technical work instructions.
  • Proficiency in soldering, crimping, cable assembly, wire harness fabrication, and electro-mechanical system integration.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with demonstrated troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently on complex assignments, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for customer installations, maintenance, training, and field service support.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting customer installations, field service, or equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
