Relationship Banker (Banking)

Location: South Glastonbury, Connecticut, United States; onsite branch role with open face-to-face customer interactions.

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly (USD).

What you will do

• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, open accounts, and refer complex needs to appropriate partners.
• Conduct proactive outreach by phone and email to onboard customers, schedule appointments, follow up, and educate clients about products and services.
• Prepare for and conduct customer meetings, provide branch servicing, and manage customer flow and lobby interactions.
• Research customer profiles and transition conversations toward financial goals and relationship value.
• Apply KYC, CIP, fraud-prevention, audit, and operational risk controls while maintaining internal control standards.
• Maintain registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act and support overall branch sales and service goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus either two years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or one year of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, tact, and diplomacy skills.
• Financial services product knowledge and the ability to identify and present suitable products and services.
• Organization, time management, prioritization, and user-level internet technology skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers for prolonged periods, read fine print, and lift objects weighing 5–30 pounds.
• Ability to work face-to-face with customers in the South Glastonbury branch.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• Bilingual abilities based on branch needs.
