Senior Relationship Banker (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at the Avenue J branch in Brooklyn, New York, United States; branch hours may include weekends and evenings.

Annual base pay: $54,375–$90,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value consumer and small business clients.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers through calls, regular outreach, branch interactions, and digital channels.
• Assess customer needs and recommend consumer, business banking, and lending solutions.
• Identify cross-sales opportunities and collaborate with product partners and branch colleagues.
• Resolve client inquiries and challenges while delivering personalized, seamless service.
• Follow regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience selling products or services in an incentive-based environment, or at least 2 years of financial services experience acquiring and developing client relationships.
• At least 12 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of consumer and small business banking products, lending, sales, portfolio management, and relationship building.
• Strong communication, consultative, influence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; computer proficiency and basic math skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
