Relationship Manager I (Banking)

Salary: $65,296–$104,304 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Acquire new small business and personal banking clients and deepen existing relationships through tailored financial advice.
• Manage a client portfolio, identify needs, and cross-sell deposits, investments, credit, and other banking solutions.
• Deliver consistent client service, resolve escalations, and coordinate with internal banking partners.
• Develop and execute a business development plan through networking, community involvement, and professional activities.
• Apply critical thinking and financial analysis to provide recommendations and manage lending and business risks.
• Comply with bank policies, credit procedures, and regulatory requirements including the Bank Secrecy Act, KYC, CRA, and fair lending practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of direct sales experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of personal and business banking products, financial statements, negotiation, and the economic environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, including CIP and KYC.
• Must be in good standing under the SAFE Act and registered or eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
