Material Project Manager

Location: On-site in Clarksville, Tennessee, 5 days per week

Annual base salary: $69,600–$124,950

What you will do

• Procure production, inventory, and MRO materials while balancing cost, quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
• Develop and onboard suppliers, manage supplier scheduling, and coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain ABC classifications, PFEP, item master data, inventory levels, and safety stock for assigned parts.
• Identify total-cost and cash-flow opportunities and select parts for Kanban and supplier replenishment.
• Support change-management project teams with deliverables, resources, implementation actions, and launch containment plans.
• Coach and drive projects that improve materials operations while ensuring compliance with BOS, standard work, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of materials or planning experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industry supply bases, materials, supplier processes, and capabilities.
• Experience with production and supplier scheduling, operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing.
• Experience in rate-based or flow-line manufacturing and job-shop environments.
• Computer proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office applications, plus knowledge of visual management systems.
• This is a safety-sensitive role and may require additional drug screening.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM or equivalent certification.
