Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, USA; onsite at the Fab 9 Burlington site

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the design, assembly, and integration of automated and robotic manufacturing cells.
• Enable manufacturing cells to be ready for future automation.
• Evaluate and improve existing and future automated equipment.
• Support daily factory operations and automation equipment across the manufacturing environment.
• Lead improvement projects and collaborate with a diverse engineering team.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Be a sophomore or junior during the application process and throughout the internship.
• Be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field through an accredited program.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency is required for written and verbal communication.
• Be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Nice to have

• Previous robotics, automation, or manufacturing experience.
• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in work, academic projects, or competitions.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
