Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States; in-person manufacturing environment

Salary: $24.00–$36.00 per hour, with possible annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on assembly of components, subassemblies, and systems with manufacturing and production teams.
• Fit, adjust, and test hardware for form, function, and conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly and production issues with technicians and operators.
• Observe processes, gather data, and support corrective actions and manufacturing improvements.
• Contribute to line planning, layouts, process flow, and cycle-time studies.
• Assist with fixtures and tooling design, evaluation, testing, and documentation of assembly procedures.

Requirements

• Completion or near-completion of a two- or four-year technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, or general shop-floor work.
• Structured problem-solving and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in person on a manufacturing floor and collaborating across engineering and production teams.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, stooping, and lifting.
