IT End User Support and Collaboration Support Engineer (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico

Salary: $83,000–$127,800 USD annually for United States of America candidates only, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, deploy, and maintain operational support services for business applications, information systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Analyze business requirements, configure third-party software, implement infrastructure solutions, document changes, and conduct testing.
• Manage and administer moderately to highly complex infrastructure, software platforms, and user groups.
• Coordinate incident lifecycles and service delivery for complex issues, including escalations through L4.
• Lead moderate- to high-complexity projects and produce professionally written reports supporting operational and strategic plans.
• Collaborate with IT technical teams and lead small groups of support engineers or application specialists when required.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in project management, production support of IT services, or a related field; an advanced degree may be combined with 3–5 years of experience.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, system administration, operating systems, systems engineering, and virtualization.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Servers, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Python, SQL, scripting, and Windows PowerShell.
• Ability to respond to moderately complex issues, exercise judgment, work independently, and provide direction to team activities.

• ITIL certification.
• Experience with Agile methodology, automation, and DevOps.
