Production Coordinator II (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Mississippi, United States; on-site work at a government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi

What you will do

• Track and deliver parts, kits, and assemblies from inventory to propulsion technicians across multiple workcenters.
• Maintain floor stock of common parts, tooling, and consumables.
• Review work instructions and Bills of Materials for accuracy of flight-critical parts.
• Establish and standardize part flows for workcenters across sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, technicians, inventory, and planning to resolve shortages and reduce production delays.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Production Coordinator or in a similar role.
• 2+ years of experience using ERP, MES, and/or WMS software.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs unassisted and perform regular physical activities including standing, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
• Availability for overtime, non-standard shifts, changing priorities, and work in heat, cold, wind, and rain.
• Must clear a U.S. government-administered background check for on-site work at the Stennis government partner location.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Infor LN, Manufacturo, and/or Jira.
• Ability to generate automated part-shortage reports using SQL.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines.
