Data Analyst (AI): Managing, analyzing, and transforming commercial data into trusted, AI-ready assets for sales and demand insights with an accent on data quality, governance, and machine learning enablement. Focus on building data pipelines, developing predictive demand and sales forecasting capabilities, and applying responsible AI principles to large commercial datasets.
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; onsite
Salary: CAD 100,500–150,500 annually, including target bonus

What you will do
- Analyze large commercial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for US Brands.
- Develop and maintain structured, governed, quality-scored, and discoverable AI-ready datasets.
- Design ingestion processes and maintain data pipelines aligned with Data Mesh architecture.
- Explore predictive demand modeling, sales forecasting, segmentation, and other AI and machine learning applications.
- Implement data quality rules and support classification, access policies, privacy-by-design, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to define requirements, specifications, test cases, and solution trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data management.
- Expert SQL and data-querying skills, plus Python proficiency for data analysis and AI/ML workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI-ready datasets, AI/ML platforms, data warehousing, Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including bias, fairness, transparency, and ethical data use.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving, agile environment.
Nice to have
- Commercial pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare experience.
- Familiarity with AI Foundry, Data Mesh, Informatica CDGC, generative AI, or large language model analytics.
- Experience with web analytics, CRM, email, social media, or TV data.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Agile practices.
