International Affairs Management Consultant (Cybersecurity): Supporting CISA International with overseas travel delegations, travel approvals, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and international program initiatives with an accent on travel logistics, passport and visa requirements, and process improvement. Focus on coordinating bilateral and multilateral delegations, managing approval workflows, educating staff on international travel processes, and strengthening cybersecurity-related international partnerships.

Location: Arlington, hybrid; Washington, District of Columbia, United States. Up to 10% international travel. U.S. citizenship is required, with no exceptions, and the role requires the ability to obtain CISA suitability.

What you will do

  • Serve as the point person for CISA delegations traveling overseas and manage travel requests through the approval lifecycle.
  • Plan and provide logistical support for bilateral and multilateral delegations, including passport and visa requirements, trip approvals, and pre-trip training.
  • Cultivate relationships with agency travelers, back-stops, client leadership, and government stakeholders.
  • Support international engagement workstreams through data analysis, reporting, strategic planning, and internal and external communications.
  • Develop and implement concepts and strategies to improve international travel processes and support international projects.
  • Educate staff on international travel procedures and integrate requests into the tracking system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a B.S./B.A. or commensurate experience.
  • At least three years of experience supporting administrative functions.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, including the ability to work with senior audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain CISA suitability required.
