Lead System Integration Engineer (Python)

Location: Austin, Texas; Mountain View, California; or Warren, Michigan

Salary range for California: $202k–$310k per year. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient, observable integrations and data pipelines using APIs, webhooks, scripts, connectors, and middleware.
• Create reusable integration services, accelerators, reference templates, data mappings, transformation logic, exception handling, and monitoring approaches.
• Connect Google Workspace with identity services, reporting environments, asset repositories, approved AI platforms, and core business systems.
• Modernize Microsoft-dependent workflows, legacy interfaces, and automations while supporting Microsoft, Google, and internal-platform coexistence during migration.
• Lead design reviews, implementation guidance, validation, troubleshooting, cutover, hypercare, and long-term sustainment with product, engineering, security, TPM, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering, software engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise application integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Production-level proficiency in Python, scripting, REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, ETL, data transformation, cloud integration patterns, and Git-based version control.
• Experience designing secure, supportable integrations across SaaS platforms and internal enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, identity integration, access control, and enterprise security practices.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migration or coexistence programs.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, Google Workspace APIs, Google Apps Script, and AppSheet.
• Experience with Gemini Enterprise, Glean, AskGM, Databricks, data retention, ILM, privacy frameworks, or regulated data controls.
• Experience with automated testing, cutover planning, data validation, hypercare, and sustainment models.
