What you will do

• Lead design, development, and deployment of backend RESTful API services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership for critical platform investments on AWS.
• Implement and drive the adoption of secure AI-assisted and agentic software development workflows.
• Mentor engineers to improve technical capability, consistency, and software quality through code reviews and design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver business-value features aligned with enterprise needs.
• Influence full-stack architecture patterns across UI, API, and service layers.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering expertise with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building secure, scalable platform services in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Ability to convert market requirements into strategic software product design and technical direction.
• Must be based in Irving, TX (Dallas).
• Knowledge of responsible AI usage and secure coding practices in AI-assisted development.

Nice to have

• Experience building production AI agents using Python.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of LLM integration with external tools, APIs, and retrieval systems.
• Experience in MLOps or model deployment.
• Skills in prompt optimization and multi-agent workflow design.
