Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; fully remote

What you will do

• Architect and deliver complex, high-value features across the Zone platform with scalable and observable solutions.
• Integrate AI workflows to improve engineering throughput while maintaining quality.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into staged technical execution plans and make architecture decisions that reduce long-term complexity.
• Build automated validation frameworks for AI-generated and human-written code against US GAAP and IFRS logic.
• Identify architectural bottlenecks, refactor fragile code paths, and improve review and documentation standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and own delivery outcomes, OKRs, KPIs, quality, and timelines.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience leading complex projects from ambiguity through production delivery in globally distributed environments.
• Strong verification discipline and experience designing testable solutions for high-consequence business logic.
• Effectiveness in fully remote, asynchronous work with high autonomy and self-direction.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and time zones.
