Technology Consultant – Cloud Data & AI Solutions (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Princeton, New Jersey; New York, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Bethesda, Maryland; Durham, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; or Chicago, Illinois, United States. Regular work from home is combined with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices, and travel is required for client-facing work.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 per year.

What you will do

• Assess client data, AI, and digital technology ecosystems to identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop AI engineering, data platform, and cloud modernization strategies for supply chain and manufacturing clients.
• Design future-state lakehouse, warehouse, data pipeline, and analytics architectures.
• Plan and support cloud and data platform migrations, including platform evaluation and implementation roadmaps.
• Evaluate Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and emerging GenAI platforms against scalability, cost, performance, and long-term fit.
• Lead or support implementation teams delivering data pipelines, platform components, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions while collaborating with business, IT, data, and operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, data engineering, cloud implementation, or data platform delivery.
• Experience assessing or designing data, analytics, AI, or cloud solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major platform such as Databricks, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to AI engineering, GenAI platforms, ML platforms, or AI/ML lifecycle practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, observability, or release governance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, architecture documentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to guide junior team members.

Nice to have

• Experience in supply chain or manufacturing functions, including planning, inventory, logistics, procurement, operations, or network design.
• Databricks migrations, lakehouse architecture, or cloud data platform modernization experience.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft, Boomi, APIs, event-driven integration, IT/OT integration, or regulated industries.
• Experience supporting proposals, RFP responses, effort estimation, or resource planning.
