User Experience Designer, Mid

Location: Remote from the United States; based in Bremerton, Washington, with occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility possible

Salary: $69,400–$158,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Design intuitive, large-scale digital experiences for software and web applications.
• Conduct user research and translate client vision and user needs into design solutions.
• Develop information architecture, wireframes, rapid prototypes, and visual interface designs.
• Contribute to front-end development and the full digital creative process.
• Collaborate with product managers and Agile team members to prioritize design-centered changes and improvements.
• Communicate design concepts to audiences with different roles and organizational levels.

Requirements

• Experience conducting user research and creating intuitive designs for software or web applications.
• Experience with visual design.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required, and eligibility for access to classified information is necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with UX and user-centered design.
• Knowledge of information architecture, workflow design, information management, and governance for site usability.
• Knowledge of evolving web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.
