User Experience Associate Consultant (UX)

Location: Primarily Atlanta, Charlotte, DC/Reston, or Richmond, USA. Employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested; remote work is allowed when compatible with hirify.global and client needs.

Compensation: USD 80,000–84,000 yearly, with geographic adjustment.

What you will do

• Contribute to user-centered digital experiences through information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs.
• Apply usability, accessibility, and interaction design practices to complex business challenges.
• Support user research and usability testing and translate findings into design recommendations.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, analysts, and clients throughout the design process.
• Create and present deliverables that communicate design rationale and recommendations.
• Evaluate emerging design technologies and AI-enabled workflow trends for client solutions.

Requirements

• Graduation in December 2026 or May 2027 with a bachelor’s or accelerated master’s degree in Design, Information Science, HCI, or a related field.
• A portfolio of project work is required.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with design systems, reusable components, and modern product design workflows.
• Ability to explain design decisions and connect solutions to user and business needs.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Working knowledge of accessibility best practices.
• Experience using generative AI and AI-powered prototyping or design tools.
• Experience from coursework, internships, or team-based projects.
