Technician II, Long Oligo (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Formulate custom oligonucleotides according to customer specifications.
• Perform product quantification, final packaging, and QC sampling.
• Use automated and manual laboratory equipment accurately.
• Carry out limited equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Translate order requirements into formulation processes.
• Assess QC data and make pass/fail decisions for oligonucleotides.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with PC software and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site in Coralville, Iowa, on the stated Monday–Friday shift.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher.
• At least 12 months of laboratory experience.
• Life-science work experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Internet use.
