Senior Aircraft Sheetmetal Technician - H125 FAL (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Columbus, Mississippi, United States. The role is 90% on-site and requires a US Person under the ITAR definition.

What you will do

• Perform sheetmetal installations, modifications, and repairs on hirify.global Helicopters airframes and parts.
• Cut, join, seal, and adjust sheetmetal structures according to engineering drawings, STC instructions, and standard practices.
• Fabricate patterns, templates, doublers, small parts, jigs, and repeatable installation tools.
• Install prototype and close-tolerance parts for certification purposes.
• Use hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment while maintaining aircraft structure and system integrity.
• Document labor and completed work in MES, SAP, and required technical records.

Requirements

• At least six years of aircraft sheetmetal installation or repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, parts lists, fiche techniques, and technical documentation.
• Ability to apply standard shop practices to aircraft structure fabrication, repair, and modification.
• Must be a US Person under ITAR: a US citizen, green card holder, or person covered under an existing ITAR license.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• An Airframe or Powerplant license or applicable trade school is a plus but not required.
