What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Remove, install, disassemble, inspect, repair, replace, and reassemble airframe components and flight controls.
• Service and inspect aircraft tires and landing gear; perform aircraft jacking, towing, and operational checks using external and APU power.
• Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and Portable Hydraulic Power Supply equipment.
• Maintain tool inventories, cleanliness, Foreign Object Damage prevention practices, safety procedures, and required maintenance documentation.
• Assist with junior technician development and Naval Aviation programs and audit procedures.

Requirements

• Maintenance experience on MV-22, CV-22, or CMV-22 aircraft.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of aviation experience, including 2 years using military standards and specifications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, specifications, safety rules, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA, aircraft composite repair practices, and flight-control rigging procedures.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance and pass drug and background screening.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to schedule and task changes, and work overtime when required.

Nice to have

• Composite repair training.
• FAA A&P certification.
• Previous V-22 APU operator and Bladefold/Wingstow qualifications.
• Previous CDQAR/QAR Inspector billet or Air Force 7-level qualification.
