Sheet Metal Fabricator I (Cores) (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, United States. Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM; overtime is routine. Access to export-controlled commodities and technical data requires U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization.

What you will do

• Measure and fabricate raw materials to blueprint and work-instruction specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to produce complex aerospace parts.
• Operate shears, deburring equipment, and brake presses.
• Complete required paperwork and perform related production tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
• Computer literacy for operating applications and software such as ADP and Accupress.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring equipment, including calipers and height gauges, and apply shop math.
• Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist for extended periods; frequent lifting of at least 30 pounds and successful completion of a visual acuity test are required.

Nice to have

• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience.
