Transportation Manager

Location: Dulles, VA, United States; 80% onsite and 20% remote

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage regional transport service providers, including 3PLs and integrators, through performance reviews covering SLAs, costs, and quality.
• Oversee high-level shipment execution to and from EMEA sites and act as the escalation point for operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, external regulations, EU customs requirements, and Brexit-related requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Order Desk, and Warehouse Operations teams in U.S. locations to develop aligned logistics solutions.
• Provide regional subject-matter expertise for complex AOG and project cargo flows.
• Represent the region in global transport projects and share best practices with Europe and Asia-Pacific counterparts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, or logistics management.
• Proven experience in the transportation environment and working with external service providers.
• Project management expertise and the ability to communicate complex logistics issues to non-logistics stakeholders.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Dulles, Virginia for approximately 80% of the time and travel independently on short notice.
