Procurement and Raw Materials Planning Manager

What you will do

• Lead raw materials planning and maintain the site plan for every part to support production and delivery while optimizing inventory turns.
• Manage procurement professionals responsible for purchase orders, tactical supplier relationships, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancy resolution.
• Partner with strategic sourcing and supplier quality teams to improve supplier performance and relationships.
• Represent Supply Chain in new product introductions, transfers of work, source-of-supply changes, and other site projects.
• Establish team KPIs and performance objectives aligned with department, plant, business unit, and company goals.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities using hirify.global Business System and hirify.global Materials System tools.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, master’s degree with 3+ years, or 15+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or materials management within manufacturing.
• Previous experience leading direct reports in procurement, materials management, sourcing, or a related function.
• At least 3 years of experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI, reporting, and data analytics skills.
• Practical experience participating in or leading Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
• Ability to work on-site in Duncan, South Carolina, and travel occasionally, under 10%. Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 30 lb.

Nice to have

• APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
