Material Planner II (Supply Chain)

Location: Zeeland, Michigan, United States; on-site role.

What you will do

• Analyze customer forecasts and release, reschedule, and monitor supplier purchase orders.
• Manage component inventory levels and material availability for daily manufacturing schedules.
• Track supplier deliveries, arrange expedites, and develop resolution plans for shortages and disruptions.
• Review part setups and interplant component movements in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, receiving, and Accounts Payable to resolve supplier, delivery, paperwork, labeling, damage, and invoice issues.
• Build supplier relationships and use planning and ERP tools to support inventory management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to support occasional activities outside normal business hours.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, integrity, and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Applications, Power BI, Oracle OBIEE, or equivalent data analytics tools.
• At least one year of experience working in multiple areas of supply chain.
