Customer Support Agent

Location: Bray, Ireland; hybrid work with 1 day in the office per week

What you will do

• Provide technical support for the hirify.global payroll suite by phone and email.
• Own client queries from initial contact through resolution, coordinating with colleagues when escalation is required.
• Investigate complex payroll, system, and configuration issues and communicate findings clearly to clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while delivering a high level of service.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll or technical support, preferably in a client-facing role supporting enterprise payroll or HR solutions.
• Knowledge of UK and/or Republic of Ireland payroll legislation, processing, pensions, compliance, taxation, and year-end activities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes.
• Ability to explain technical payroll concepts clearly to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
• Strong workload management, organization, communication, collaboration, and escalation-management skills.
• Microsoft SQL Server, database querying, and data analysis experience is desirable; training is provided.
