Solution Consultant - Cybersecurity Practice

Location: United States; remote and hybrid work practices may be available where feasible. Travel domestically and internationally is required at a frequency of 50% or more.

Base compensation: $125,000–$160,000 per year, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and design secure, scalable solutions for converged IT/OT environments and physical AI applications.
• Support discovery, solution positioning, technical validation, proposals, and executive-level value articulation.
• Lead proofs of concept and value, including success criteria, test plans, hands-on validations, and measurable outcomes.
• Conduct customer assessments and advisory sessions aligned with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and NIST SP 800-82.
• Design architectures using hirify.global NAC, firewall, and software solutions; define deployment approaches, integrations, BOMs, and implementation scope.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, IT, OT, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity stakeholders to accelerate opportunity conversion.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, solutions consulting, or security architecture, preferably in industrial or OT environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of network segmentation, firewall policy, SRA, asset visibility, vulnerability and risk management, and incident response.
• Experience translating industrial security frameworks and standards into actionable scopes and solutions.
• Strong communication skills for engineering and executive audiences, including customer-ready proposals, diagrams, PoC plans, and readouts.
• Business-standard English fluency is essential.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50% or more is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claroty, Nozomi, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, or comparable OT security platforms and vendors.
• Security architecture experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, transportation, or other critical infrastructure environments.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or vendor OT certifications.
