Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist-Per Diem In-Home Services (Phlebotomy)

Location: Camden, New Jersey, United States; various U.S. locations with local travel across the designated geographic area. The role requires travel to patient residences, including visits up to 100 miles away.

Salary: $25 per hour, including appointment and travel time, with a two-hour minimum paid per visit. IRS-standard mileage reimbursement is provided.

What you will do

• Collect, label, transport, and deliver blood specimens according to laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Perform trained clinical screenings, including electrocardiograms and macular edema examinations.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, equipment, supplies, and clinical work environment.
• Monitor clinical inventory and maintain accurate mileage and time logs.
• Complete visit-related documentation and collaborate with the clinical coordination team.
• Report adverse events, medical product complaints, and patient inquiries according to established guidance.

Requirements

• At least two years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.
• Ability to use medical equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving-record review before hire.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Washington or Louisiana residents must hold a state-issued CMA or CPT license. Drug screening and background check are required after accepting an offer.

Nice to have

• At least one year of EKG experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician certification.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-focused communication skills.
