Medical Assistant, PRN (Healthcare)

Location: Germantown, Wisconsin, United States; onsite work in a Health Center setting.

What you will do

• Greet and room patients while creating a welcoming experience.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples.
• Support front-office administration, documentation, and clinical workflows.
• Provide coverage based on clinic and staffing needs while exercising sound judgment within scope.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program and at least 2 years of recent experience, or at least 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience through on-the-job training.
• Relevant military medic experience may also qualify.
• Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and support varying clinic schedules.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
