Senior Benefits Specialist (HR Scale)

Location: Kingwood, Texas, United States; travel required up to 50% of the time.

Salary: $64,800–$81,098 per year.

What you will do

• Serve as the dedicated benefits specialist for HR Scale clients and key client contacts.
• Research and resolve complex benefits issues, escalations, and client-specific situations.
• Ensure benefits processes and communications comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Deliver benefits education sessions to worksite employees in person and virtually.
• Lead benefits projects, training initiatives, audits, and process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with clients, service teams, vendors, carriers, and internal benefits partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Five to seven years of experience in customer service, HR onboarding, or benefits administration, or two years of equivalent hirify.global or PEO experience.
• Five to seven years of experience in healthcare claims and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of benefits plans, policies, procedures, and plan documents.
• Ability to support compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other benefits regulations.
• Ability to work in Kingwood, Texas and travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Group Benefit Associate (GBA) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree.
