People Services Specialist

Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week on site at the Deerfield, Illinois headquarters and the remainder remote.

Salary: $40,000–$60,500 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Serve as a first point of contact for associates and HR by researching inquiries, resolving cases, documenting interactions, and meeting service-level expectations.
• Support onboarding, orientation, employee changes, offboarding, and other associate lifecycle activities.
• Process hiring, job changes, organizational updates, and terminations in Workday and other HR systems while maintaining data integrity.
• Support benefits, tuition reimbursement, employee referrals, relocation, performance management, engagement surveys, and related HR programs.
• Maintain personnel records and support compliance, audits, employment verification, I-9 requirements, reporting, and dashboard maintenance.
• Create HR knowledge content and contribute to technology enhancements, testing, automation, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services, HR Operations, Recruiting, HR Technology, or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Customer service experience with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and cloud-based file-sharing platforms.
• Ability to manage confidential information, prioritize work, handle competing deadlines, and meet service-level expectations.
• Ability to work three days per week on site at the Deerfield, Illinois headquarters.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, recruitment ATS platforms, time and attendance systems, or similar HR technology.
• Experience with ticketing or case management systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Workday Help.
• Experience in HR operations, onboarding, shared services, compliance, reporting, or HR service delivery.
• Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
