Senior Operations Reliability Engineer - IAM (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; working hours are 8 AM–5 PM Eastern Time, with participation in a rotational on-call schedule.

Base compensation: $92,000.00–$120,800.00 per year, with possible performance-based bonus or commission opportunities.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end resolution of IAM incidents, minimizing recovery time and business disruption.
• Monitor observability and AIOps signals to detect authentication failures, provisioning delays, and identity risks.
• Correlate events across IAM platforms and dependent systems to identify root causes.
• Improve alert thresholds, suppression logic, detection rules, and automated remediation workflows.
• Partner with cloud, network, security, endpoint, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen IAM reliability.
• Support identity lifecycle operations, post-incident analysis, recurring issue resolution, and onboarding readiness for new applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IAM operations, identity platforms, or enterprise IT operations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for global operational collaboration.
• Expertise in authentication, authorization, SSO, provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
• Hands-on enterprise experience administering and supporting Okta, plus working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience troubleshooting SSO, provisioning workflows, authentication failures, certificate issues, incidents, and event correlation.

Nice to have

• Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with observability platforms, AIOps tools, and event management systems.
• Exposure to automation frameworks, self-healing system design, SaaS identity integrations, and cloud environments.
