Sr Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote within the United States

Annual base salary: $95,000–$135,000

What you will do

• Support SaaS products and their underlying infrastructure running in AWS Cloud.
• Apply AWS cloud best practices and Well-Architected Framework principles to products migrated from on-premises data centers.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, secure cloud solutions with development, business, and platform teams.
• Improve end-to-end observability, monitoring, metrics, troubleshooting, and production escalation processes.
• Lead application integration initiatives and optimize cloud-native environments for performance and efficiency.
• Enable development teams through CI/CD, GitOps, automation, and secure change delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• DevOps experience with an operations-focused background, preferably approximately 70% operations and 30% development.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, containerization, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and FluxCD, plus Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with CloudWatch, EC2, AMIs, Elastic Beanstalk, load balancers, RDS, SQL administration, networking, HTTP, APIs, and microservices troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Linkerd or Istio.
