Engagement Manager - Confluent

Location: Remote within the United States and the listed states: Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, Washington, Massachusetts, Nevada, and California. Travel required up to 20% or one day per week.

Salary: $118,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead customer-facing project teams and deliver successful outcomes for enterprise customers.
• Manage a portfolio of 10–15 concurrent projects, with three to four active in a typical week.
• Own professional services delivery and the customer experience throughout each engagement.
• Manage scope, schedules, risks, issues, contracts, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including backlog planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, demonstrations, and status reporting.
• Remove blockers, resolve conflicts, improve delivery practices, and identify opportunities for additional professional services work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading customer engagements in a professional services role and managing concurrent engagements.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including work as an agile project manager or Scrum Master.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong, clear, and concise communication skills with a consultative leadership style.
• Self-motivated, action-oriented approach and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to work without current or future visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with SFDC or FinancialForce, Google Suite, Java development projects, cloud platforms, data streaming, or Kafka.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master certification.
