Finance Manager, Accounting (AI)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid role based at the New York City headquarters

Base salary: $123,600–$151,850 USD per year, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Manage key activities in the month-end financial statement close, including account reconciliations, journal entries, expense accruals, and general ledger reviews.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, control automation, reporting quality, and workflow standardization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual Excel-based work through automation and AI tooling.
• Partner with offshore accounting teams, FP&A, cost-center owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to improve deliverables, expense tracking, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Support the redesign of the Chart of Accounts and ERP implementations and enhancements.
• Support year-end financial statement audits and statutory audits.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience; private and public accounting experience is preferred.
• Active CPA license in good standing and education or comparable experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, external reporting, internal controls, and accounting policies.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort analyzing and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with a Big 4 firm and/or an SEC-registered company; Netsuite and/or Oracle ARCS experience is preferred.

• Experience in SaaS technology, retail, consumer products, or media.
• Experience in a high-growth organization or with offshore/global delivery teams.
• International reporting experience.
