People Partner, Research (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; staff are expected to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $255,000–$310,000 USD

What you will do

• Advise and coach senior leaders and managers across Research functions.
• Support employees and managers across the employee lifecycle in partnership with Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, and other specialist teams.
• Help management build a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
• Guide performance management and employee relations matters appropriately.
• Partner with leadership and Finance to implement scalable programs and policies that attract, retain, and develop talent.
• Contribute to cross-functional People projects, including manager training and process development.

Requirements

• Experience working in HR at a fast-growing technology company, startup, or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in employment law and HR best practices in North America.
• At least 6 years of experience in People Partner, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or a closely related function.
• Experience providing confidential, practical support and handling conflict resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time; the role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
