What you will do

• Develop and execute automation strategies supporting manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and operational goals.
• Lead the design, installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of PLCs, robotic systems, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Integrate industrial robots, automated equipment, machine vision systems, industrial networks, and DCS technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on electrical schematics, control diagrams, blueprints, automation designs, and CAD work using SolidWorks.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and cycle times.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel and provide technical leadership across engineering, maintenance, and operations.

Requirements

• Extensive industrial or manufacturing engineering experience focused on automation and controls.
• Expertise in PLC programming, ladder logic, PLC troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, electrical schematics, tooling, machining processes, and blueprint interpretation.
• Hands-on experience configuring and integrating HMI systems and industrial robotics.
• Familiarity with machine vision systems and PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high safety, quality, and reliability standards.
