DLP Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support the development of an information protection strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Implement, manage, and optimize DLP and information protection technologies across endpoints, email, cloud applications, collaboration platforms, and data repositories.
• Monitor and investigate DLP alerts, assess risk and impact, and perform triage, containment, escalation, and incident documentation.
• Develop and tune detection rules, data classification rules, sensitive information types, policies, and exceptions.
• Coordinate security investigations with Information Security, SOC, Incident Response, Legal, Privacy, and Business teams.
• Ensure DLP controls align with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of information security experience focused on information protection and data security.
• Hands-on experience with DLP and UEBA technologies.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, CIS, and NIST 800 Series frameworks and standards.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations, data classification methodologies, and data handling policies and procedures.
• Expertise in insider threat frameworks such as CERT and NITTF, plus strong written, verbal, technical, and non-technical communication skills.
