Sr. Insider & Data Risk Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own insider risk investigations from triage through closure, including timelines, containment, escalation, determinations, and lessons learned.
• Mature insider risk management, case management, risk tiering, risk assessments, and risk registers.
• Operate and tune data loss prevention tooling across SaaS, endpoint, cloud, collaboration, source code, and trading-platform environments.
• Investigate data exfiltration, misuse, policy violations, unauthorized AI tooling, and sensitive data exposure.
• Partner with People/HR, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and IT on sensitive cases and audits.
• Serve as the Security escalation point for insider and data risk cases and mentor others on investigations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in insider risk, DLP operations, digital forensics, or security investigations.
• Hands-on experience managing sensitive personnel investigations and operating DLP in SaaS and endpoint environments.
• Experience with workflow automation, AI, or SOAR platforms for alert triage and case orchestration.
• Understanding of data classification, data governance, SIEM, and log analysis tools such as Elastic or Splunk.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and APPI.
• Strong written communication, integrity, discretion, and ability to work across security, legal, compliance, HR, engineering, and IT functions.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, financial services, trading platforms, or security operations.
• Digital forensics, eDiscovery, UEBA, insider risk detection, or incident response experience.
• Scripting or automation with Python or SQL and experience with major cloud platforms.
• Certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or CFE.
• Knowledge of SEC/FINRA expectations and multi-jurisdiction privacy requirements.
