Embedded GSOC Intelligence Analyst (Security)

Location: Fully onsite at the client’s Toronto office, Canada. The role requires five rotating 8-hour shifts covering early, late, and night periods, including weekends, with up to 5% travel.

Compensation: CAD 85,000–100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor open-source, social media, and vendor feeds for global security threats.
• Conduct horizon scanning and produce timely, credible, actionable intelligence briefings and analytical reports.
• Monitor client travel, events, incidents, alerts, and security systems; perform initial triage, verification, classification, escalation, and coordination.
• Provide recommendations and updates during incidents, crises, and senior management briefings.
• Support the development of intelligence assessment techniques and the growth of the client’s intelligence function.
• Monitor physical security operations, including CCTV feeds, access control, door alarms, and response playbooks.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in international security, intelligence, risk, geopolitics, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in a corporate, public-sector, or private-sector environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats.
• Experience using OSINT and social media intelligence platforms, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of information, communicate clearly, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with GSOC and intelligence tools, including threat monitoring, OSINT, and SOCMINT platforms.
