Service Manager, Cyber Security Automation (AI)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Define and mature the operating model for cyber security automation, including intake, prioritization, backlog management, lifecycle ownership, and service reporting.
• Translate business needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, risk assessments, dependencies, and control expectations.
• Assess and prioritize automation opportunities based on operational impact, risk reduction, complexity, and cyber priorities.
• Design safeguards for automated actions, including approvals, exception handling, monitoring, auditability, rollback, and human oversight.
• Evaluate practical, controlled, explainable AI-enabled automation opportunities.
• Coordinate automation delivery and lifecycle management with SOC, Security Engineering, DLP, Threat Hunting, Data Security, and investigations teams.

Requirements

• Experience in information security, cyber operations, security automation, or technology service management in a large enterprise.
• Experience with one or more of SOC operations, incident response, SIEM, SOAR, case management, DLP, threat hunting, data security, or security engineering.
• Understanding of how security teams detect, investigate, respond to, and manage threats.
• Ability to manage complex demand, organize backlogs, clarify priorities, and guide practical delivery.
• Ability to translate operational needs into clear requirements and communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
