Senior Analyst - Cost Control (Utility Infrastructure)

Location: East Hartford, Connecticut, United States; office-based

Salary: $96,000–$110,000 annually, plus up to 16% bonus

What you will do

• Monitor project costs across gas construction design and delivery programs.
• Develop cost forecasts, variance analyses, budget reports, and capital and operational budgets.
• Process inspections, restoration billing, bid packages, purchase requisitions, and contractor invoices.
• Resolve contractor and customer complaints and address inspection-related questions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams on cost reporting and construction schedules.
• Maintain audit, compliance, and regulatory documentation while improving cost-control processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cost analysis, financial planning, or project support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
• Applicants must comply with applicable United States immigration requirements to work in the country.

Nice to have

• CMA, PMP, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with gas utility or energy-sector projects.
• Knowledge of capital budgeting, cost control, and utility infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Primavera, or MS Project.
