Manager, Account Management (TAG)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid environment

Salary: $81,000–$93,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage Account Managers and Account Specialists serving retirement plan sponsors, advisors, and third-party administrators.
• Implement service strategies and coordinate team activities against department goals.
• Resolve escalated issues, client complaints, processing errors, and complex relationship matters.
• Approve P&L amounts up to $5,000 and make operational process decisions.
• Develop workflow efficiencies and improvements across recordkeeping and internal systems.
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate employees, including making compensation recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Seven years of retirement industry experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and complex relationships.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to internal and external customers.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• FINRA Series 6.
• ASPPA certifications.
