Manager - Client Senior (Banking)

Location: 4275 Executive Square, La Jolla, California, US, 92037; in-office role with a sales hybrid setup.

Starting base salary: $71,869–$114,797 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead branch sales and service activities, including outbound calling, client visits, referrals, cross-selling, and new business development.
• Manage, coach, mentor, and develop internal sales and service colleagues, including conducting annual reviews.
• Support the branch manager and relationship managers in building, maintaining, and expanding client relationships.
• Promote appropriate banking products and services while supporting client retention and branch profitability.
• Oversee branch operational integrity, risk management, loss prevention, certifications, and operational reviews.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and implement updates to bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of direct client service experience in a banking environment.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• SAFE Act registration in good standing with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, or eligibility to register.
• Excellent knowledge of bank products, policies, procedures, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Ability to report to the designated City National location is an essential function of the role.
