Pump Plumbing Assembler

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 1st or 2nd shift

Salary: minimum $21.23 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour 2nd-shift premium and a $2.00 per hour technical premium after training

What you will do

• Prepare, cut, and thread pipe for plumbing installation.
• Install pneumatic gauge tubing, pump panels, mechanical linkages, brackets, and custom pipe routing.
• Perform hydrostatic leak and vacuum tests, record results, and repair identified leaks.
• Read blueprints and 3D drawing models and measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Use pneumatic and battery-powered hand tools and perform tack-welding on pipe and bracketry.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of demonstrated mechanical experience in automotive, machinery, facility maintenance, farming, or plumbing applications.
• Ability to perform plumbing and welding functions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, including drilling, grinding, and reciprocating saws.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, safety manuals, and tape measures.
• Ability to lift and manipulate parts or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds and tolerate constant standing.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and operate equipment safely.
