Associate Financial Advisor - Rouyn-Noranda

Location: On-site full-time in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance is required.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized banking, investment, credit, and financial solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans and connect clients with Imperial Service and Business Banking specialists when appropriate.
• Build relationships through networking, marketing, outreach, outbound calls, and community and banking centre events.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and support their digital banking needs.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Ability to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at multiple nearby banking centres.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Strong client service, critical thinking, goal planning, digital literacy, and regulatory knowledge.

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
